Wimbledon Primary Learning Support Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Wimbledon on a contract basis. In this role, you will work alongside teachers to support the learning and development of students, particularly those with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters engagement and growth. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with educators to implement effective teaching strategies and adapt learning materials to meet diverse needs. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
• Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) principles and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles
